Al tricked me into rigging by starting to rig himself, but he never put his wetsuit on so I ended up being the guinea pig and getting out there in the marginal conditions.

It actually turned out to be underpowered conditions and I couldn't get going at all. I then fell in on the transition and took ages to waterstart. Eventually made it back to where I started and carried my kit back to the car.

The wind then dropped off completely so we packed up and went back to Al's. The wind did pick up a little later on and we contemplated going back out, but it was never going to be exciting so we didn't bother.
